I am an educator who specializes in teaching children with reading and spelling challenges, reading disabilities, including dyslexia. I use evidence-based intervention strategies and create a multi-sensory reading program while using an Orton-Gillingham approach. I am a licensed Elementary Educator with over 20 years of experience working with a diverse group of children. My specializations include, Reading Intervention, Bilingual Education, Gifted Education, Orton-Gillingham Approach, NEST Model for Children with Autism, International Baccalaureate Program, Literacy Coach, and Educational Consultant I am an alumni of UC Riverside,Teacher’s College, Columbia University, and Bank Street College.
I am a boy mom who loves to go on adventures with my family. I love the beach, reading, and dancing anywhere I can.
